This session provides guidance on how to respectfully acknowledge and engage with Indigenous Days of Significance in organizational and community settings. Participants will explore the purpose and meaning behind key days, the importance of avoiding performative practices, and how to engage in ways that honour Indigenous voices, lived experiences, and ongoing responsibilities. The session emphasizes intentionality, reflection, and relationship building when planning recognition activities within mainstream systems.
